Zivar (زیور) Amrami is an interdisciplinary artist born in Minnesota to an Iranian father and a mother of Norwegian descent. Steeped in Jewish mysticism from birth, her work is shaped by a sustained curiosity about what unites and differentiates us. She is a writer, healer, and nurturer of women’s voices, and the creator of the Wisdom of Birth deck. She currently lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband and two children.
